About Dr. Orest Bauer
Bauer Dental Arts is a boutique general and implant dental practice that provides personalized service in the heart of Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Our goal is to offer clear, concise, and anxiety-free dentistry to every patient. By working closely with each individual, we are able to meet their unique needs and expectations. From the moment our patients walk through the door, they feel at home in our comfortable office environment, thanks to our friendly staff.
Dr. Bauer, the founder of our practice, began his dental career as a dentist in the US Navy. He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania and completed a Residency in General Practice at the National Naval Medical Center. During his service, he gained extensive practical training and experience while caring for personnel from all military branches. This experience taught him a pragmatic approach to treating a broad range of dental conditions. Dr. Bauer’s conservative outlook on dentistry enables him to maintain oral health while minimizing unnecessary procedures, ensuring the best possible care for our patients.

Dr Bauer and his staff are amazing! Very polite and professional. Even though I had to wait for a little while, they were apologetic about it and made sure that the delay wasn’t beyond reasonable. Dr Bauer takes all fear of dentists away. He is very gentle in everything that he does and does an amazing job of talking you through what he's doing. He is inventive in ways that I haven't seen a dentist be. He got me back on my feet when my teeth were in a very bad way.
