Dr. Oscar Cascante is a general dentist who specializes in family and cosmetic dentistry. He understands first impressions are important, and that a healthy, attractive smile can boost confidence, and enhance personal and professional life. Dr. Cascante has been practicing general dentistry with an emphasis on aesthetics and implants since graduating from the University of Florida College of Dentistry in 1990.
In order to be on the cutting edge of dentistry, Dr. Cascante has attended numerous hours of advanced education, including the University of Miami Implant Program. His office is also the first in Miami Dade County certified by Six Month Smiles™ to offer 6 Month Adult Braces. amazing staff over all. Best dentist I've had! 5 stars over all. Even though it was kind of a busy day at the office, Dr Cascante took the time to go over everything I need to get done and explain it in detail. Asked if I had any questions and didn't leave until everything was clearly explained. Staff was also amazing, everyone smiling and kind and they also took time out of their busy schedule to answer all my questions and explain things about my insurance as well. Cannot recommend this place enough, well done!

The visit with Dr.Cascante was good, but the staff there is horrendous. I have a primary dentist that I am doing my orthodontics with and only came to Dr.Castante because he was in network and would cost me less than getting the filling at my primary who is not in network. I explained this to a receptionist before I even booked with them and they were completely aware of this. Once I finished my filling a lady named Alicia basically demanded that I schedule my next cleaning with them. I told her I get my cleanings done with my primary dentist (Dr.Robert Singer R&R the science of dentistry AMAZING DENTIST!) Alicia spoke to me very rudely, we went back and forth for a minute and then she told me “You need to make a decision, you either come to us or stay with your other dentist!” I am appalled at the behavior and disrespectful manor she spoke to me in. Hopefully Dr. Oscar Castante reads this and realize that as great as his work could be, rude and disrespectful receptionists can taint his image. Not sure if they care or not because this is almost what I would consider a commercial dental office, mass amounts of patients and not much quality. Hopefully Alicia learns to respect the patients wishes, providing advice that is not warranted in such an aggressive and rude manor would never EVER make me even consider leaving my primary dentist !

I like that he kept me informed every step of the way before, during and after his exam, without rushing, and always approachable.

I had to wait 10 minutes or so to be seen, but I was able to get an appointment just a few hours before. Frankly, 10 minutes is nothing and the office and staff are excellent. Dr. Cascante came across as very knowledgeable and genuine. My family and I will be seeing him from now on.
