Pallavi Rakesh is an engaging and intelligent general and cosmetic dentist serving the communities of Lilburn and Alpharetta in Georgia. Dr. Rakesh attended Bangalore University in India for her undergraduate career, graduating with a degree in dental surgery. She earned her doctorate in dental medicine from Boston University and continues to hone her skills by taking advantage of continuing education courses in dentistry.
Dr. Rakesh is a member of the Georgia Dental Association. She has been practicing dental medicine in Georgia since 2007 and is adept at a variety of specializations, particularly dental implant placement, dental pain management, and bone augmentation. Some of the other services she offers include gum surgery, teeth whitening, tooth extractions, and root canals.
Dr. Rakesh is married to Rakesh Talanki and has two sons, Aniket and Ishanth. Outside of work, she enjoys gardening, hiking, cycling, and hand painting. In fact, Dr. Rakesh’s love and appreciation for painting has spurred her into making an exclusive collection of art pieces in ethnic Indian and contemporary European styles. The front desk said my insurance doesn’t cover the X-ray performed and did not even tell me how much the procedure would cost before even doing the procedure but yet after leaving the offices I contacted my insurance and they stated that my insurance does cover it so now I have to wait 21 days for a refund all due to them misinforming me of the wrong information

The front desk staff and Dr. Rakesh were very friendly and clear. However, the dental assistants did not introduce themselves so I didn't know if they were assistants or dentists. They also weren't clear with some of the procedures. I wish they were a bit more transparent.

All was good with staff and Dr. Rakesh. It was the part while filling out the forms when I got to one in particular informing me of the risks of covid19! That's where I began to panicking. As I do have some medical issues I do want to get the care I need, I am afraid of this risk of getting this virus.

I Had the best Experience out of all my dentistry experiences. Dr Rajesh made me feel comfortable and my confidence was brought back because I was able to smile again. I would recommend my family and friends to Ace Family Dental Care any day.

The staff is welcoming and incredibly kind! Dr. Rakesh extracted a wisdom tooth with a huge cavity in it. Despite my immense trepidation, she made me feel comfortable and it was over quickly. It ended up being painless in spite of my fear. I am so grateful that I could have this done today and I was able to get in so quickly. Dr Rakesh is amazing. Highly recommend

I appreciated the welcoming feeling I got once I arrived the service was great for the most part as well however, I’m not really liking the fact that they want you to pay out of pocket first for things that your insurance covers. Then tell you that your insurance will pay you later for what You payed out of pocket within 30 days. I just feel like if my insurance covers me then why should I have to pay out of pocket for anything other than my copay When they should be taking that from my insurance. Other than the billing portion of things my visit was great and the staff here are great as well especially the receptionist she’s really sweet and her energy is great to have around.

Wait time less than I expected. Quick in checking in and checking out. My hygienist was superb. She throughly explained and answered every concern of mine with patience. The dentist is a kind lady. The other staff needs work. At check in I was told I would only get a consult and x-rays, not a cleaning. I booked an appointment for a cleaning, it's the only reason I was in the office. I was not told before that they do a consult then book you for an appointment at a later date for service. Yes, they did manage to get me in for a cleaning, small victory. While waiting for the x-rays I was placed in a room with a tv. The program on that day was featuring young Amazon boys undergoing torture rituals. Not a program I want to watch while waiting or ever for that matter. Then, I was moved to another room where Parks and Reaction was on. Also, not a show I'd think appropriate for a place of business. The lady that cleaned my teeth did an okay job. I assure you she didn't do a through cleaning. At the end the Dr never stepped in to check her work. I was just sent out to pay my bill. I won't go back to this office and caution anyone who thinks of getting any service there.

I have not been to a dentist in years (unfortunately) and when I came here, I signed in and was taken back within 5 minutes. (It helps if you check in online before your appointment). I had my son and daughter in the waiting room and the staff in the front was caring and playful with them. The hygienist was gentle and answered my questions well and made me very comfortable. When Dr Rakesh came in, which was shortly after my x-rays, she did a full evaluation, taking her time to explain every detail to me. She allowed me to ask questions and was patient and knowledgeable. I would recommend anyone to her and would actually highly recommend the office.

Dr Rakesh was very friendly, and I felt like she was trustworthy. I hadn't been to the dentist in quite a while, so they had to do a deep cleaning and a few small fillings. Finding a dentist is a frustrating process. It is pretty much a blind item and I have receive the used car approach with other dentists. Dr. Rakesh was kind and reasonable without trying to oversell. I am moving the whole family over to her office.

I love her and her staff. They were all so nice and helpful. The woman at The front desk (Mary) is awesome. She explained and broke down all of my charges and answered all my questions and concerns. The hygienist was so motherly and nice, I felt very comfortable and like I have been coming to this office for years. The dentist was great and very informational. Even though I have to get a route canal! (Yikes!!) she made it seem like a walk in the park and I believe her!;) I would highly recommend this office to EVERYONE!!

Dr Rakesh is very pleasant and was patient when dealing with me. I had some immediate issues that needed to be addressed and she took good care of me. Was disappointed however in the fact that even after X-rays, and a previous consultation I showed her on my first visit where it was outlined I needed several fillings, when I called to schedule it the Dr acted like it was the first time she had heard of it, and said I would need to come in first so she could see my teeth before scheduling the fillings. I felt that was inconsiderate considering I drive 40+mins to see her. Also even though I was prescribed a mouthwash I would need to use indefinitely, I had to keep calling up her office for refills instead of her prescribing it with refills. When I would call the receptionist seemed a bit short and I felt she was rushing me off the phone, and this happened when I called with questions or concerns for the Dr. as well. With the distance, and the lack of attention to details I am changing my dentist

The office is very clean and very presentable. Dr. Rakesh is genuine and cares about me. She gave a full treatment plan and let me make my choices. They did not rush on me and took time to explain the treatment plan. It is a calm professional environment. Michelle made my entire visit very easy and pain free. She took time to go over the financing options and explain it to me. I will soon return back with family here.

My visit with Dr. Rakesh was a life changing experience. She gave me a smile again I never thought I would be able to smile again with a huge gap in my front teeth, but since Dr. Rakesh gave me crowns in the front, I can't stop smiling.
