About Dr. Pardis Sharifabad
It is my pleasure to be part of this wonderful team!
I completed my Doctor of Dental Surgery at New York University College of Dentistry, followed by two years of residency at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. I absolutely love seeing my patients smile after each visit—it is my favorite part of what I do! I enjoy all aspects of dentistry and am committed to being the best provider I can be for my patients.
I am originally from California and enjoy the warm weather and great beaches, but I also love exploring New York City! My favorite thing to do in my off time is walk around the city and find new places to eat or new coffee shops. There is always something in this city that hasn’t been discovered yet, no matter how long you’ve lived here :)

Doc I originally booked was not available. I got called & agreed to see someone else, gave insurance info. Told exam would be one price.
I explained to doc I had quite a bit of anxiety due to prior exceptionally bad experiences. She did not seem to take me seriously. Felt rushed through the cleaning etc.
Checking out, I had to ask multiple times to be given the correct treatment plan, as explained to me in the exam room, including a prescription, which I had to remind them about twice. They tried to sell me on the whole treatment plan (w/payment), instead of just helping address the immediate issue and following up.
Exam cost more than explained in the phone. When I went to pharmacy, prescription had never been ordered.
Staff in reception were very nice but the one helping me was in a pink character sweatshirt, fairly unprofessional appearance.
Overall seems like a clean, friendly office that feels like it's there to upsell, not actually address concerns.
