We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your cooperation.** I am a board certified orthodontist, originally from Jacksonville, Florida and am excited to now call New York my home! I attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and then committed to Teach for America (TFA) and taught at an underserved high school for 3 years. My teaching background helps me to explain orthodontic concepts to patients in a way that is easy to understand. Following my TFA service, I attended the University of Pennsylvania for my Doctorate in Dental Medicine and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society. In dental school, I realized my passion for orthodontics and subsequently dedicated three extra years in specialty training in orthodontics. At Texas A&M College of Dentistry (formerly Baylor), I earned my Certificate in Orthodontics. At Texas A&M, I learned how to align teeth to maximize smile esthetics and the health of the bite. I also conducted orthodontic research and received the Thomas Graber Award of Special Merit from the American Association of Orthodontics for my thesis work on accelerated orthodontics. I continue to stay current with orthodontic research and am also proud to be a board-certified orthodontist. I look forward to meeting you and helping you achieve your dream smile!
