About Dr. Patty Arcos-Velastegui

Dr. Patty Arcos was born and raised in Ecuador. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree in 2011 and completed a year of residency in General Dentistry where she provided care to underserved communities in rural areas of her hometown. In order to further her professional career, Dr. Arcos moved to the United States, where she completed her post-doctoral training in a rigorous 2-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry program at The University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Arcos has a passion for general and cosmetic dentistry. She strongly believes that continuing her education and staying up to date with the latest dental technology and techniques is the best way to provide excellent dental care to her patients. In 2022, she became a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry. The Fellowship Award (FAGD) is presented to dentists who seek to provide the highest quality dental care by remaining current in the profession. Dr. Arcos have made it a priority to provide dental care to patients in underserved communities. She has enjoyed traveling to Honduras, Guatemala, and Mexico on numerous dental service trips, and have participated in different community service programs in the U.S.
