“No waiting, hi-tech, zero discomfort. The hygienist was thorough, not rushed. Had x-rays and 3-D image of my teeth done - images were amazing. Finished up with Dr. Paul going over everything with me, not rushed. Hadn’t been to the dentist in three years but was happy to make a 6 mo appointment here. Highly recommend!”

About Dr. Paul Koppelman
Dr. Paul Koppelman practices dentistry with the philosophy that there is no longer any reason to be fearful of the dentist. A healthy mouth and a beautiful smile can always be achieved painlessly. Every patient is given the time and explanations to ensure their dental desire and goals can and will be met. Dr. Koppelman has expertise in oral diagnosis, treatment planning and treatment of dental emergencies. Along with his advanced background in gentle and proper dental anesthesia, his patients can be assured of a truly pain free experience.
Dr. Koppelman attended Georgetown University School of Dental Medicine. He graduated in the top of his class and was inducted in the honorary society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon. Dr. Koppelman continued his dental training at Albert Einstein and Jacobi Hospital in a one year general practice residency. Following completion of his residency, he moved to Israel. He started a family dental practice and taught at Tel Aviv University School of Dental Medicine. He taught for four years in the Dept. of Oral Diagnosis and Emergency Dental Care. He was voted best instructor two years in a row.
Dr. Koppelman returned to New York with his family and continued in private practice. His emphasis continues to be on diagnosis and pain control. He is dedicated and committed to each of his patients to provide the highest quality of care that modern dentistry can provide.
Dr. Koppelman accepts most PPO plans but does not participate with DMO, HMO, and Medicaid plans. For in and out of Network questions please contact our office.

The hygienist/Dentist Assistant was so very knowledgeable, caring and told me what was happening before it happen. He gave me great tips and advise about what is the best mouth wash to use. He was a gem. I will be going back and I already shared this place with my children and friends. 5 big stars.

From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a warm welcome. The wait was short and all of the staff were helpful. Dr. Paul was attentive, engaging and informative as he listened to my issue and explained the cause and what procedures needed to happen to alleviate my pain. He was amazing. The whole staff is also very good. They know their profession in depth and are not superficial. They make you feel comfortable about your teeth. Doc Koppelman doesn't advise root canals and caps just for cosmetic reason or just to make money. He really care and took me on a case by case. Very good. Honestly I have been searching for a dentist like this for a very long time.
The hygienist also took time on assessing my teeth and gave great feedback. He has a plethora of knowledge in this field. I felt like I was in good hands. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

My first visit with this dental office went well. They explained my dental issues well and made me comfortable. Even what my Insurance covers was explained thoroughly. Definitely want to continue with Dr. Koppelman's dental clinic.

Dr. Paul Koppelman is so warm and kind, and makes you feel so comfortable in the office. The staff is extremely efficient without being rushed. I got X-Rays, a cleaning, and an exam all within 40 minutes...with no wait time. I highly recommend!

Their office is very clean and modern, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. I was the last appointment of the day, and they still didn't rush or cut any corners. My teeth and mouth feel very clean. They really took their time and I was extremely happy with the entire experience.

Dr. Paul Koppelman and his staff are top notch and I cannot recommend them enough! I've never had a complaint with my hometown dentist, but Koppelman Dental is a step above any dentist or doctor experience I've had.
Dr. Koppelman walked me through everything he saw on my x-ray and laid out all my options, recommending a follow up procedure, but did not pressure me to get it done by him. But after such a great first impression, I went back to him for it and had an incredibly smooth and painless root canal done!
