About Dr. Pegah Pourrahimi
Dr. Pegah Pourrahimi received her undergraduate degree from UCLA with a degree in Psychobiology. She always felt very passionate about taking care of others and giving back to the community. This passion led her to the field of dentistry and allowed her to graduate from one of the highest ranked dental schools in the country, the University of California, San Francisco. At UCSF she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree and was presented an award for her skills in Removable Prosthodontics.
She has been published with one of the most respected public health dentists in the country and is a member of the ADA (American Dental Association), the SBVCDS (Santa Barbara Ventura County Dental Society), the CDA (California Dental Association), the AACA (American Academy of Clear Aligners) and the AAID (American Academy of Implant Dentistry) . She has over 15 years of experience in general, implant, Invisalign and cosmetic dentistry and continues to pursue courses led by the world leaders of these fields.
Dr.Pourrahimi was raised in Calabasas and enjoys spending time with her family and friends, hiking, cycling, snorkeling, and traveling.

I absolutely loved my dentist visit! I just moved back to the area, and had to find a new dentist. As you know, that can be nerve-racking and a little scary… Like you never really know what's in store. But honestly, since the second I walked into the office, I had such a great feeling. The office staff was lovely, my x-rays were quick and easy, Dr. Pourrahimi went over them with me, totally helped me understand my mouth! The hygienist, Angelina, was so great!
Honestly, everyone was really kind. So happy to have found my new dentist on my first try ?

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Pourrahimi and her entire office staff. As someone who usually dreads dentist appointments, the whole team made me feel at ease and walked me through every step. Dr. Pourrahimi thoroughly explained everything she did, and when she recommended getting my wisdom teeth pulled, she made sure I understood why and what the next steps would be. I will be recommending Dr. Pourrahimi to friends and family.

After a couple of bad experiences I was very pleased with the service at Dr. Pourrahimi. Both she and her assistant were patient, kind and made sure I understood everything they were telling me. They were also very cheerful and did not try to "upsell" me various procedures.
As a nervous patient I HIGHLY recommend this practice.

I cannot express enough how wonderful my experience was with Dr. Pourrahimi and her team. She is excellent. Extremely friendly, easy to communicate with, and went above and beyond to take time to provide patient education. I have had two visits with her in the last week - one for a consultation/clean and the next for a couple fillings. She and her hygienist frequently made sure I wasn't in pain and told me what they were doing with each step. Kerry at the receptionist desk was also extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. I've already recommended Dr. Pourrahimi to two loved ones. :)

The office is modern and efficient. The dentist is caring, friendly, knowledgable and helpful. She and the hygienist are careful and do not cause discomfort. They had to replace the crown furthest from the front, so deep in my mouth. They made the experience as pleasant as can be. I couldn't believe it!! I love this dental office.
