About Dr. Peter Mcintyre

Dr. Peter McIntyre attended the University of Colorado Health Science Center for dental school, graduating in 1986. He is committed to continuing his dental education, regularly advancing his training and knowledge through hands-on courses in airway treatments, orthodontics, implant dentistry, general dentistry and cosmetic dentistry, including special training in occlusion studies through the Foundation for Advanced Continuing Education and implant seminars, as well as training in BOTOX®, dermal fillers and microneedling. In fact, Dr. McIntyre completes over 100 hours of continued training each year! Drs. Tom Basta, Armen Mirzayan, Arun Garg and Tom Hebda were great mentors to him in his dental education and training. Dr. McIntyre is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Dental Association®, the Colorado Dental Association and the Colorado Springs Dental Society. He has received a number of awards, including the President’s Award from The Arc and multiple years as a Colorado Springs Top Dentist. He has practiced in the Colorado Springs area since 1975, when he began providing respiratory therapy at St. Francis Hospital, and began practicing dentistry in the area following his graduation from dental school in 1986. As a dentist, he is committed to making a difference in people’s lives. Dr. McIntyre typically sees new patients first for a comprehensive new patient exam. From there, you and the dental team establish a detailed treatment plan based on your needs for the smile you desire! Dr. McIntyre and his lovely wife have six children and ten grandchildren. Outside the office, his hobbies include hunting, fishing, photography and anything relating to biology.
