About Dr. Peter Young
Dr. Peter S. Young believes in developing a partnership with you in order to help you achieve long-term optimal dental health. Providing the highest quality comprehensive dental care in an ethical and conservative fashion is his number one priority. He also works closely with a team of well-qualified specialists in providing multidisciplinary dental care.
He has received the designation of MAGD, a “Master” from the Academy of General Dentistry. Less than 2% of dentists in America have this degree. Dr. Young has attended over 4000 hours of advanced dental continuing education since 1988 and continues to attend over 100 hours a year. Dr. Young is a Fellow of the International Academy for Dental Facial Esthetics and an Accredited Member of the American Society of Dental Aesthetics. This means Dr. Young has been recognized by his peers as a leader and an example to other dentists in the importance of continued learning for optimal patient care.
Dr. Young earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Loma Linda University. Dr. Young is an Associate Fellow of the World Clinical Laser Institute and a sustaining member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Other memberships include: American Dental Association®, California Dental Association, Total Patient Service Institute, San Gabriel Valley Dental Society, American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, and the American Academy of Facial Esthetics.

Dr. Young is a lifetime member and has been certified by the United States Dental Institute in orthodontics since 2002. He also holds membership in the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation and is a Lifetime Quality member of the Crown Council. He is also a graduate, mentor and clinical instructor at Kois Center.
Educating others is also one of Dr. Young’s passions. He has been an assistant professor since 1998 at the Division of General Dentistry School of Dentistry at Loma Linda University

Great customer service. I had an after hours emergency & doctor called me right back and follow up after care was very nice. My appointment were timely and the doctor caring and listens to my concerns & helps me with solutions. Office staff are great & very helpful. I'll recommend this dental care office to everyone. Highly recommend.

I am so impressed by the staff of the OT technology & equipment. As well as the customer service. The appointment is just for you - no waiting! Dr. Young's time is valuable & its so satisfying that he knows your time is valuable too. The efficiency of the office staff, dental assistant Christian & Dr Young was like a work oiled machine! so exact, proficient & professional ! Everyone is so warm & friendly. I also learned from Dr Young! Now my dental habits are really going to improve the quality of my life! Thank you Dr Young & staff!!!

I am a pt at Young Dental Health Care and at every visit, I am impressed with the level of care & professionalism. Dr Young & his team are exceptional. They take time to explain the procedures & answer all my questions. The dental hygienist are gentle yet thorough, making sure I am comfortable throughout my procedure. I highly recommend them to everyone looking for a caring & professional dental team.

Young dental office was so accomodating, They were able to schedule me same day appointment due to my toothache. The staff from person to person who answered the phone, front desk. Dental tech & Dr Young were very professional & friendly. Great experience. Will have my husband & me came here from now on.

Very excellent surf service. Professional office. Easy to use. Staff does excellent job putting one at ease. Reasonable priced and will work with their patients financially. Dr Young has reassuring manner, will listen to your concerns. Staff is well trained.

I am very impressed by this dentist. I just went for my initial checkup in a cleaning & was blown away by the thoroughness, thoughtfulness & professionalism. The feeling is well maintained. Nice lobby with complimentary waters. Staff is super friendly & helpful. The dentist was very professional & thorough in his examination & cleaning. I look forward to going back to this dentist for all future dental needs. The location is perfect for me. Rightly off 16th street with less of parking.

Found Dr Young & his team at the Upland Formees Matuet, while I was working . Our family was in the process of looking for a new dentist that was closer to where we live. Since then, we have all been coming to him then. They are all very professional, and the feeling is top notch. If you're in need of a great dentist then please check out Dr Young & his team, you won't be disappointed.
