About Dr. Phat Huu Kevin Nguyen
Dr. Nguyen embarked on his academic journey by obtaining his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the prestigious University of Toronto in Canada. During his time there, he developed a deep understanding of dental science and honed his clinical skills to provide comprehensive dental care.
Driven by his passion for further specialization, Dr. Nguyen pursued a General Practice Residency (GPR) at Montefiore Medical Center in New York. This intensive training program allowed him to expand his knowledge and gain valuable experience in various aspects of dentistry, including advanced surgical procedures.
Following his GPR, Dr. Nguyen’s pursuit of excellence led him to Washington DC, where he completed his residency training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at MedStar Washington Hospital Center. This rigorous program provided him with extensive training in the diagnosis and treatment of conditions affecting the face, jaw, and mouth. Throughout his residency, he worked closely with experienced mentors, honing his surgical skills and gaining expertise in complex oral and maxillofacial procedures.
Within the field of oral and maxillofacial surgery, Dr. Nguyen has developed a particular interest and passion for dental implant rehabilitation and orthognathic surgery. He is committed to helping patients restore their smiles and improve their oral health through the placement of dental implants and performing corrective jaw surgery. Dr. Nguyen stays up-to-date with the latest advancements in his field and incorporates innovative techniques to ensure the best possible outcomes for his patients.
Outside of his professional endeavors, Dr. Nguyen enjoys leading an active lifestyle. He is an avid runner and finds solace in exploring nature through hiking. He has a keen interest in travel, which allows him to experience different cultures and broaden his horizons. Dr. Nguyen also has a creative side and enjoys capturing the beauty of the world through photography.

I went in to see Dr. Nguyen because my wisdom teeth were impacted and the extraction was too risky for my dentist to do it. The office was great and Dr. Nguyen was very nice and made me feel comfortable. I was put to sleep for the procedure which I highly recommend for everyone . The recovery went well, I only took advil and I barely had any pain. Great experience!

Outstanding office and people. I was admitted before my appointment time and was able to have an unscheduled procedure set up on the same day.
Everyone I interacted with was super friendly and knowledgeable. So good it almost makes you want more mouth surgery…

Dr Nguyen was fantastic. He did an excellent job explaining the process and answering every question we had. I was very nervous and he eased my concerns before and during the procedure. He personally followed up with me the day afterwards to see how was doing. One of the best medical experiences I've had because of him.

Dr Nguyen is soooo nice! He really took his time with me and I felt so comfortable having him take out my wisdom teeth. I was really nervous, but him and his staff were so kind. I would refer any family or friends to him!

Dr. Nguyen and his team are very professional and get you in quickly. They explain everything completely and made me feel comfortable! He and his team go above and beyond and follow up to check in on you! I highly recommend Dr. Nguyen and Colorado Surgical Arts!
