About Dr. Philip Shindler

A native of South Africa, Dr. Shindler has been living in southern California for nearly thirty years. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg and has been practicing since 1987. Affiliations • California Dental Association • American Dental Association • Conejo Valley Academy • Frank Spear Study Group • Alpha Omega Dr. Shindler and his staff are proud of the warm, patient-friendly environment they have created and of the lifelong relationships they have built with multi-generational families in the area. He welcomes patients of all ages and looks forward to meeting you and offering the professional, caring, and pain-free oral health care that you deserve. When not in the office, Dr. Shindler enjoys cycling (mountain and road), going to the gym, skiing, hiking with his four dogs, and taking them to the dog park.
