About Dr. Pooja Mantravadi
Dr. Pooja Mantravadi is a board certified Oral surgeon and Maxillofacial surgeon practicing in Frisco, TX. She grew up in Austin, TX and did her undergraduate studies at Texas A&M University.
She went on to obtain her Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. Following dental school, she relocated to the Philadelphia area and practiced general dentistry in a private practice.
It was during her time in practice as a general dentist that she developed a notable interest in the field of oral surgery. She decided to pursue this passion and completed an Internship at the prestigious University of Pennsylvania Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery.
Following her internship, she went on to complete a rigorous residency program at Temple University Hospital System in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where she received specialized training in General Anesthesia as well as Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. During her residency, she was responsible for managing trauma call covering injuries of the face and mouth at two level 1 trauma hospitals in the region as well as two community hospitals. In her final year of residency, she served as chief resident of the Oral & Maxillofacial surgery service, graduating as the only female resident in her program.
Dr. Mantravadi brings comprehensive experience in full scope Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery with an interest in impacted wisdom teeth, All-on-X surgery, dental implants, oral pathology, facial trauma & reconstruction, TMJ dysfunction and Orthognathic Surgery.
Dr. Mantravadi is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, giving patients and their families an added level of confidence in their care.
Dr. Mantravadi enjoys traveling, cooking and playing with her baby in her free time.

Really amazing experience with Dr. Mantravadi, she's been so thorough and followed up after to ensure I was healing well. The way she explained and answered all my questions was exactly what I needed to feel comfortable. Glad I chose her to be my surgeon!

Dr. Mantravadi gave us step by step instructing for before and after the procedure. She was thorough, friendly and kind. Her staff was very good too! She is very knowledgeable and we were comfortable and satisfied with her treatment.

Doc was amazing - I had no pain after my surgery. She even helped me get my medication through
a specialty pharmacy after my procedure just so I could be as comfortable as possible. Great doctor!

Dr. Mantravadi was an excellent surgeon, I had a lot of nerves going into my wissom tooth removal
but she explained everything so well and answered all of my questions! Best part was after my surgery she checked in on me and followed up to make sure that I was healing properly. Great experience with Dr. Mantravadi - would highly recommend seeing her!
