About Dr. Poria Rafiei
As a native of Houston and the founder of Distinct Dental, Dr. Poria Rafiei is proud to provide quality dental care to families in his community. Whether treating children or adults, Dr. Rafiei takes time with his patients to explain their treatment options and answer any questions they might have. Dr. Rafiei is certified in administering nitrous oxide and oral conscious sedation, and he takes advantage of this training to help ease anxious patients’ worries and make them feel more comfortable during their procedures.
After earning his dental degree from the University of Texas, Houston, Dr. Rafiei remained active in the dental community through his participation in the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, and the Greater Houston Dental Society.
When he is not working, Dr. Rafiei enjoys playing basketball and football, going to the gym, and spending time with his family.
