About Dr. Praveen Mehta
Dr. Praveen Mehta has been practicing dentistry since 1972. He graduated from M.V.P. Samaj's Dr. Vasantrao Pawar Medical College Hospital & Research Centre with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery and completed his residency at New York University. He and his son, Dr. Arjun Mehta, have recently upgraded the facility to incorporate the latest advances in the dental field. They maintain a conservative philosophy toward dental therapy and blend mainstream with holistic dentistry. They practice according to the principles of evidence-based dentistry while using state-of-the-art technology.
They have a warm, friendly, relaxed personality that easily allays the anxieties of patients and makes the dental experience less traumatic. The practice has expanded through positive referrals, and now the patient base encompasses the tri-state area.

Friendly staff, I was very comfortable from the second I walked in. They were patient, understanding and had excellent communication. The doctor himself was amazing. Took the time to listen to me understand my concerns and then he was able to speak to me and get me to understand what he is saying and show me using a mirror so I can see what he’s talking about. Hands down probably the best dentist I’ve been to.

For the first time going to the dentist was not a terrible experience. The lady who did my cleaning was really gentle and did a great job; it wasn't nearly as painful as other cleanings I've had. Dr. Mehta and his staff were all patient, understanding and very nice. Also they didn't guilt trip me which was a first. 10/10 would recommend.

So happy to have found him. He really takes time to explain and show you everything and make sure you are completely comfortable. He answers questions and offers information. Bedside manner is remarkable. His staff is excellent and I had the most thorough cleaning of my life. So far I've had the cleaning and several fillings, returning for more. Can't recommend enough.

Dr. Mehta was very thorough. He thought I might’ve had a what would’ve been a complicated cavity to fix. He took a second X-ray just to make sure, and thank God it was just a cloudy result the first time. He was very calm, pleasant and honest. His entire office team were very sweet. Amazing first visit.

Dr. Mehta was wonderful – patient, kind and thorough. I've had a lifetime of really painful dental experiences. Dr. Mehta's whole team was great. My teeth are super sensitive so they used an anesthetic gel during the cleaning – which made a huge difference. I feel so relieved to find a gentle dentist.
