Dr. Rachel Thomas received her dental degree from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine. At RSDM, Dr. Thomas served as Student Government President and earned awards and scholarships including the Leadership and Distinguished Service Award. While completing her General Practice Residency at Jacobi Medical Center in Bronx, NY, Dr. Thomas realized she had an ability to connect with children and wanted to focus her practice towards reaching out to the next generation. She completed her specialty training in pediatric dentistry at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Thomas puts an emphasis on prevention and educating children and their parents on how to prevent dental disease. Dr. Thomas prides herself on cultivating a safe and comfortable environment for your child. She treats every child as an individual and assesses their unique needs. Dr. Thomas strives to improve access to care for children both locally and globally. She has volunteered her time on dental outreach trips to the Dominican Republic and Peru to help provide free, comprehensive care to children in need. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, fashion, trying new restaurants (although, as a Jersey girl, diners will always be her favorite), and spending time with friends and family.
