About Dr. Rafael Dimayuga

I am originally from Vancouver, British Columbia. Dental school took me to the windy city of Chicago, where I earned my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Northwestern University. After finishing dental school, I worked in Chicago for a few years before moving back to the Pacific Northwest in 2005. I associated for a few years before taking over for Dr. Allan Zalewski in Lynnwood in 2011. Outside of the office, you can often find me hanging out with my wife and daughter, enjoying all that Seattle has to offer. I love trying new restaurants and exploring different foods and drinks. My wife and I spend a lot of time supporting our daughter in her activities, mainly ballet and whatever sports she can fit into her schedule. I used to be a volleyball junkie but also enjoy other sports and staying active. My other interests include travel and computers. Dentistry is many things-fun, stressful, and rewarding! I strive to be as honest as possible and take plenty of pictures so you can see exactly what I see. I aim to be proactive rather than reactive when it comes to your dental needs, but I'm always sensitive to my patients' preferences and will never be aggressive in my treatment approach. I love getting to know my patients and learning about their interests outside of dentistry, and I'm happy to answer any questions you have. Hopefully, we can meet one of these days!
