About Dr. Rafiq Hirji
Dr. Rafiq began his studies at the University of British Columbia before pursuing his Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Southern California School of Dentistry. He has practiced dentistry for over 10 years and is certified in Level 2 sedation, Orthodontics, and Invisalign. He is constantly learning and improving his patients' experience with up-to-date procedures and techniques to deliver the best quality outcomes. His ultimate goal with each patient is to find a solution that provides the oral care and smile they desire.
Dr. Rafiq grew up in Port Moody, British Columbia, Canada. He has two amazing kids who help keep his energy levels through the roof. When he is not at the clinic, he is usually out around the city with his children. Dr. Rafiq loves fitness and exercising, mainly to allow himself the ability to indulge in delicious foods and desserts. He enjoys cooking and trying new restaurants. A fun fact about Dr. Rafiq is that he and his kids have swum with dolphins.

As always, he was professional and very kind. I had to have an extraction. Dr. Hirji kinda had to work for it but he got it. So thankful to have found this office!

The dentist and assistants were nice, very polite, and knowledgeable. They talked me through my first filling and did a great job helping me feel relaxed and calm. My filling was small so it only took about 15 minutes. They discussed my options with me beforehand so I felt good about my decision. I went ahead and just got it filled during my routine appointment. No complaints on behalf of the staff. The wait time was a bit long but I did come in the afternoon closer to closing. I was also scheduled within a few days of calling to set an appointment so I see this office as accommodating. I’ll keep this dentist!

Staff are super friendly. I felt calmer as they took time to explain me the procedure as well as all my bills. My 1st visit wait time was longer especially since I was new patient and needed to fill out lots of form. But other time it was very quick. Dr rafiq is also very gentle and knowledgeable which made me feel safe and comfortable
