“Everyone was really nice in the office. However, they told me I “didn’t qualify for a normal cleaning” which I have never heard before and that I had to get a “deep cleaning”. Then I have to pay a lot for my appointment after insurance. I have never paid that much for a first time patient X-rays and cleaning. I have good dental insurance too. It all felt really weird but the people were nice”

About Dr. Rajul Patel
While in college, Dr. Patel had a physics lab partner who introduced her to her sister. The sister worked as a dentist and was currently searching for an assistant. At that time, Dr. Patel wasn’t sure if she wanted to pursue the medical field or dentistry in particular – but she started working for her and was quickly inspired! Whether through alleviating dental pain or completely transforming a smile, the dentist was able to change people’s lives for the better every single day, and she wanted to provide that same level of immediate gratification. The rest, they say, is history.
After graduating from Loyola University in Chicago, Dr. Patel pursued her dental doctorate at New York University College of Dentistry. Continuing education has been very important to her over the years; she’s completed numerous workshops with Spear Education, along with training in CEREC, BOTOX, oral conscious sedation, Invisalign, and more. Currently, she is a member of the American Dental Association and the Illinois State Dental Society.
At home, Dr. Patel and her husband have a young daughter and son, as well as their 10-year-old Boxer. When she isn’t busy caring for patients, you can typically find her taking the kids to museums or spending a family day at the beach. She also loves listening to almost any kind of music live!

Went in for a routine teeth cleaning. Instead charged me for X rays and an exam and then quoted me an outrageous price for a cleaning to be done over 2 visits. Complete waste of time to go in and not have any cleaning done.

My hygienist Simon was super thorough and transparent about the process, treatment, and after care. The hand wax and aromatherapy neck pillow during my visit were a cool bonus. All around it was a great experience and far exceeded my expectations!

All staff had great bedside manner and answered all my questions during my routine cleaning and cavity filling. The dental assistant gave recommendations for how to brush better. Left with a clean feeling mouth, and they had some nice amenities such as massage chairs and hand wax moisturizing treatment during the appointment. Would highly recommend!

I have been with Pure Dental Spa for 5 years. I have ongoing dental issues and have always been very anxious about having dental work done. The atmosphere of the office is calming, the staff is caring and gentle, making sure you are comfortable and that you understand exactly what is happening.

I would highly recommend this office for your dental needs. Very professional, yet welcoming staff. They make you feel right at home w/ free spa treatments during you cleaning! Dentist is very nice and gentle. Overall, perfect experience!

my son had his first cavities filled and the team did an amazing job to keep him calm and relaxed as possible. He use to be afraid of the dentist & after he started coming here, and they work slowly & positively with him. He became more confident & willing to get even his teeth cleaning
