Dr. Epstein received his advanced residency training in General Practice in the Department of Dental Medicine, Long Island Jewish Medical Center, New Hyde Park, New York. He then completed a two-year Dental Anesthesiology Residency in the Department of Anesthesiology at this same prestigious institution. His final year of residency was distinguished by being appointed Chief Resident within the Department of Anesthesiology. Since 2008, Dr. Ralph Epstein's practice has been limited to Dental Anesthesia and also, providing anesthesia services to patients in private practice. Dr. Epstein has been Program Director at the Dental Anesthesia program at the Stony Brook Hospital and Stony Brook Dental School. Dr. Epstein has been in private practice for over 30 years.
