Meet Dr. Rastakhiz (pronounced Rasta-Keys)
Dr. Rastakhiz received his education from UC Berkeley and the State University of New York, Buffalo, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree and completed a Residency in General Practice. He has been in practice for more than 18 years in New York and California.
We are a locally owned dental practice offering boutique, personalized dental care with a focus on patient comfort, quality work, and professional integrity. Our priorities are preventative care and minimal dentistry, and we find joy in developing long-term relationships with our patients.
We are proficient in all aspects of general dentistry. In addition to routine dental checkups, cleanings, and restorations, we are passionate about helping interested patients achieve their perfect smile using Invisalign, zirconia and e.max crowns and veneers, same-day composites, professional whitening, and implant restorations.
During your consultation, we will review your specific needs and, using the most advanced intraoral photography and 3D scanning technology, create a treatment plan tailored specifically for you. We know you’ll love your white-glove experience here!
We are a fee-for-service, out-of-network practice and, as a courtesy to our patients, will bill most dental plans for payment of covered services. We do not work with HMO plans or Medi-Cal at this time.

The front desk young lady was wonderful. She introduced herself twice and I forgot!!! The doctors assistant professional and friendly…..wonderful. The doctor actually took the time to show me and explain things to me. Professional and friendly. He even thanked his assistant when he handed him things. This was a warm and friendly office…..it’s farther from my home……but I have a new dentist!!!

I have never talked with a dentist who was so interested in making sure I understood what was going on, was able to weigh my options, and knew the field of alternatives. He communicates well, and I feel that he truly has my best interests in mind.
The office is easy to get to, and the staff and assistants were all very nice and equally helpful.

Staff was friendly and courteous. The doctor was friendly and gave me all my options and what I needed and could do. Also, the receptionist came over and showed me what my out of pocket expense was going to be after insurance. That part isn't always clear at other places. Overall a great experience. I will definitely be going back.

I was slightly worried going to a new dentist, but my experience today put my worries to ease. Dr. Rastakhiz explained in detail the status of my teeth, advised me on next steps and we arrived at an action plan surrounding my oral hygiene.

Beyond welcoming upon arrival along with warm and friendly staff. Very receptive, professional and sympathetic to my personal concerns regarding my dental hygiene. To think I used to hate going to the dentist even as an adult but their thorough and comprehendible explanations and cutting edge x ray technology really put everything in perspective for me to continue coming and hopefully as a regular patient.

Just moved to the area and was in search of a new dentist. I was greeted by the receptionist and only waited briefly to be brought back for X-rays. (Which were immediately displayed on a screen in front of for review) We went over the X-rays, established my history, and did a cleaning in under 45 mins including wait time. All and all an excellent experience. I’ll be back in 6 months.

Zocdoc is a bit too "noisy" for my tastes. I wish there were a way to limit it to single instances of any given need for communication. Also I would prefer if it were all done by email, not partially by texts.
