“As someone that hasn't been at the dentist for a while, there's a lot of treatment I needed to have done, including root canals. I was so afraid of getting this procedure because of other people's experience, but all I needed to do was find the right endodontist. Dr. Simon is so gentle and so friendly. I liked that he explained me everything about the root canal. I felt very comfortable with Dr. Simon!!”

About Dr. Randy Simon

Simon was born and raised in Hewlett, NY, and now resides in the Village of Flower Hill, near Roslyn and Port Washington. He attended the University of Michigan, earning a Bachelor of Science (BS), and then received his Master of Biomedical Sciences (MBS) from Rutgers University Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences. Dr. Simon earned his Doctorate in Dental Surgery (DDS) from New York University College of Dentistry (NYU). At NYU, he was selected for the prestigious Honors in Endodontics program for highly motivated students with strong academic achievement and received the annual Student Achievement Award from the New York State Association of Endodontists. After earning his DDS, Dr. Simon was accepted into the Advanced Education Program in Endodontics at NYU. He trained under internationally known faculty, focusing on evidence-based endodontic treatment with interests in pain relief, infection control, and traumatic injuries. During his time at NYU, he participated in research and co-authored a presentation at the American Association of Endodontists Annual Meeting. Dr. Simon continues to serve as Clinical Faculty Attending for NYU Endodontic Residents, helping train the newest generation of clinicians. Dr. Simon is Board-Eligible for the American Board of Endodontics. He takes special interest in the diagnostic process, discussing each phase of treatment with patients to ensure they are at ease, comfortable, and informed about their care. Dr. Simon and his wife recently welcomed their daughter. Family is very important to him, and he likes to make his patients part of that family!
