About Dr. Raphael Lior
I am Dr. Raphael Lior, born and raised in Israel, fluent in English and Hebrew. Outside the office, I enjoy spending quality time with family and friends. I love baking and traveling to new countries, exploring their cultures, and trying new coffee shops.
My best friend and college roommate is a seasoned dentist. During a short but meaningful visit to his private practice, I witnessed a patient's transformation that reminded me of a close friend back home who had suffered trauma. In that moment, I realized my true calling to become a dentist, deeply aware of the privilege patients place in their dentists to advocate for their oral health. Contributing to the transformation of someone's quality of life and improving their self-esteem is why I chose this field.
Before pursuing dentistry, I worked at a Fortune 500 aerospace company, leading a decorated team of engineers on commercial and military turbine jet engine projects. I left my growing engineering career to earn my Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree at Midwestern University in Arizona, where I excelled and fully embraced my passion for dentistry.

Really impressed! From the receptionist at the front, the dental assistant that took me back to the dentist himself. Everything was clean, organized, visually appealing and comfortable. The staff was extremely nice, answered all my questions and took great care of me.

Dr. Raphael Lior is Amazing! I came in for fillings and he eased my anxiety. He took care of my concerns and was very thorough and methodical. I love coming to a private practice and be treated like a human compared to those other corporate places. Prices were great. Thank you Restoration Dental team for being awesome and personal!
