About Dr. Rashad Altawaty
Dr. Rashad Altawaty (Dr. A) is a born and raised Southern California native. Dr. A went on to pursue his passion at USC School of Dentistry to earn his Doctorate in Dental Surgery (DDS) in 2014.
For the past 12 years, Dr. Altawaty has owned and operated his practice focused on comprehensive dental care including implant and denture solutions. Dr. A has been doing full mouth tooth extractions and surgically placing implant for the last 10 years, helping countless patients regain their confidence in their bite and smile.
Dr. A has also completed multiple advanced certification courses for implant surgery and full mouth rehabilitation to better serve his patients. He has earned his Associate Fellowship with the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AFAAID) and with over 2,500 Implants placed, he is here to provide you with the knowledge you need and experience you want.
Dr. A's passions outside of dentistry include soccer (Barcelona FC!), football (Fight On!), traveling to new places, and spending time with his wife and 3 year old baby boy.

I booked a dental appointment here after not having seen the dentist due to dental anxiety and mental health issues for the last six years. I felt so comfortable and not at all embarrassed when I expressed these concerns to the Doctor and his staff. They are super friendly and welcoming and I can’t wait to continue my care here!

I can’t say enough good things about Alta Dental Group! Dr. Rashad Altawaty, Ashley, and Daniel made me feel welcome and comfortable. They’re kind, knowledgeable, and efficient, creating a seamless experience.
The office is gorgeous—I heard Dr. Altawaty’s wife had a hand in the decor, and she has a great eye! Plus, they offer complimentary drinks like coffee, tea, and soda, which is a nice touch.
They also have state-of-the-art equipment, including a 3D printer for making custom night guards and molds, as well as a machine to create crowns in-house the same day. No temporary crowns or extra visits! When it came to my treatment, Dr. Altawaty was honest and transparent. He even showed me images of my teeth on the screen to explain everything, which made me feel informed and comfortable.
My husband and I will definitely keep coming here. If you want a top-notch dental office with a genuinely caring team, this is the place!

My name is Christopher and today I had Dr. Altawaty do my dental health check and my dental cleaning. Firstly, I’ve never had my actual dentist perform my dental cleaning. And you can definitely tell the difference. My smile is whiter than it’s been in years. Secondly, he was the most caring dentist I’ve ever met and very genuine, it felt like he really wanted to take care of me as a patient. He takes his time, does a good job, and offers a very fair price. 10/10 would recommend, just swapped my family over to his practice.

I loved this experience and the dentist a lot! It’s been a hard time for me finding a dentist since I moved to a new area 4 years ago, and since then I’ve struggled with every dentist I’ve had! Some have horrible bedside manner, some make the appointment process so difficult, and my last dentist acted as if I didn’t have any nerve endings in my teeth by aggressively hacking away at my gums.
Dr. A is not at all like my other dentists. In the VERY best way possible. I would recommend him 1,000,000 times over even my last good dentist. He explains everything thoroughly, is lovely to speak with, and his team is fantastic! Whoever I talk to at his office I feel like I am in safe hands. On my first visit I felt like this office was a friend vs a sterile medical facility office. I am so glad I found this office! 10/10 recommend!

I had such a wonderful and amazing experience this morning. The office was brand new, super clean, and all the equipment looked very modern. The staff was very professional, courteous and friendly. The Doctor took his time explaining everything clearly and gave me a lot of advice and recommendations for my dental health. I’m so happy I found them on Zocdoc and will recommend them to everyone I know. I’ve visited dozens of Dental Offices in my life but never experienced a place like this one. I recently had the pleasure of visiting Dr Altawaty, and I couldn't be more satisfied with the experience. From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel comfortable and at ease. Dr Altawaty has excellent chair-side manners, taking the time to explain each step of the procedure and answering all my questions. This made the entire experience much less intimidating.
What stood out to me the most was how trustworthy he is. I never felt like I was being upsold on unnecessary treatments. I knew exactly what to expect, and there were no surprises.

I recently visited Alta Dental Group, I must say it was one of the best dental experiences I’ve ever had! The staff was welcoming and professional. The waiting area was clean and comfortable, and I barely had to wait before being called in.
Dr. Altawaty was fantastic! He explained every step of the procedure, and answered all my questions with the best analogies. My procedure was painless. Dr. Altawaty made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire process.

I never write reviews, but I feel like I have to for Dr Altawaty! After going through a few other dentists who were not transparent and were a bit rude, I ended up having to search for a dentist that was close by and who was not going to make up fake procedures that I “needed”. Dr Altawaty was so sweet and I felt like he genuinely listed to my concerns and was able to solve my issues quickly - he was also transparent throughout. I’ll definitely be back for my routine care and recommend him to anyone who might need any type of oral surgery (or even routine maintenance). Thank you Dr A!

I was visiting Irvine for the weekend and found myself in need of a dentist on a Friday. I could not take the pain on my tooth. I was so relieved to find Dr. A’s office. From the moment I walked in, I felt completely at ease. The office is incredibly comfortable and beautifully designed, more like a welcoming home than a typical, cold dentist office. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the specialists were top-notch. They made what could have been a stressful experience smooth and even pleasant. If I ever need dental work while in town again, this is definitely where I'll go.

I appreciate how I could go there knowing I'd get done exactly what I needed, and done well, without feeling pressured to get other work done, but instead know that any recommendations were helpful and sincere.
