About Dr. Rebeca Power

Mother, dog lover, smile artist, and sought-after orthodontic specialist. Dr. Power's love of the ocean and warm weather brought her to the Treasure Coast, where she opened her original office in Stuart in 2008. Dr. Power is passionate about her craft and has always had an eye for aesthetics, which enables her to create the perfect smile for each individual. When she is not creating beautiful smiles, Dr. Power enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time outdoors with her family and friends. Dr. Power is internationally trained in dentistry, earning her first dental degree from the Central University of Venezuela in Caracas in 1996. After practicing dentistry briefly in Venezuela, she relocated to Boston, USA, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine from Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine. She then spent an additional three years earning her Certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics from the Department of Orthodontics at Boston University, known for having one of the top orthodontic programs in the country. During her orthodontic residency, she also received Advanced Certification in Invisalign? clear braces treatment, surgical orthodontics, and temporary anchorage devices (mini-screws). After graduating, Dr. Power worked as a Clinical Assistant Professor in Orthodontics in the Advanced Education in General Dentistry Program for two years. In 2005, she relocated to Stuart, FL, where she worked for six years at one of the largest dental groups in the country. Those six years gave her the opportunity to create beautiful smiles for many children, teens, and adults across the Treasure Coast community. Dr. Power has been providing orthodontics and dental care for over 20 years and is the lead doctor at Power Orthodontics. She is passionate, forward-thinking, and uses the most advanced methods when treating all orthodontic cases.
