About Dr. Rebecca Gutowski (Matour)
Dr. Rebecca Gutowski (Matour) pursued her dental education at the University of Pennsylvania, where she earned a Doctor of Dental Medicine, receiving honors in community oral health. Dr. Matour completed a general practice residency at the Manhattan VA Hospital, providing comprehensive care to veterans focusing on restorative and cosmetic dentistry. She then furthered her training serving as chief resident at New York Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital where she gained experience in endodontics, full mouth rehabilitation, and surgical procedures.
She feels passionately about dentistry and works to deliver high-quality and compassionate care in order to treat each patient as a unique individual. She is committed to providing patients with a comfortable experience where they feel encouraged to address their concerns in order to improve their oral health from both a functional and esthetic standpoint. Dr. Matour is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and New York State Dental Association. She is dedicated to continuing education to incorporate advancements in the field into her patient care ranging from restorative techniques to Invisalign treatment. She is originally from the Philadelphia area and currently lives with her fiancé in Long Island City. In her free time, she can be found at a book club, exercise class, running at the park, traveling or spending time exploring the city.

My visit with Dr. Matour was top notch and my questions were fully answered. I was in for a routine checkup as a new patient and everything went as expected. It was exam first, then cleaning. The doctor performed the cleaning. The doctor seems to be a stable human with a positive outlook, and there were no shenanigans. I left with all the teeth I came in with.
The office is huge and staffed by a small army of almost-suspiciously upbeat people.
