About Dr. Reggie Thurston
Dr. Reggie Thurston is a dentist treating patients in Chicago, Illinois, and the surrounding communities. Doctor referred me to another clinic but didn’t prepare them. They booked me incorrectly and then it was hard to rebook. He should’ve had someone from the office call ahead to make sure they booked me for the right treatment.

As a woman and person of color, it hurts a lot when a white male doctor invalidates and disregards your pain. Dr. Reggie seemed rushed, disorganized, and like he already knew he was going to reschedule my appointment. The dental assistants told me they were under staffed and that’s why there wasn’t time to fill my cavity. It was my first time here and they didn’t even bother to do a full x-ray on my teeth. I will not be returning here and would not recommend it to anyone.

Dr Thurston was great! I hadn't been to a dentist in soo long and he was very sensitive to my needs and concerns. He set me up with Gloria, a hygienist who did a great deep clean for me, and she made me feel very at ease. If you're scared of the dentist like I was, this is the place for you! Chairs have massagers in them too.

Well I didn't really see the dentist. My gums were swollen and i was scared that i might have something more serious. Every time i was brushing it was like a blood bath. Turns out i just had a lot of buildup and he said that all i needed was a deep cleaning. He checked for cavities and that was all. Just a cleaning is all i needed. To be honest, he made me feel so much better. Had been about 5 years since i seen a dentist and he didn't crucify me like a lot of my other bad experiences. This office definitely has kept me as a customer. Oh and the chairs have back massagers!!

Dr. Thurston is an excellent dentist. I recently had to switch dentist's due to a change in my insurance coverage and I am really glad I had to. The team at Ora is great, they are friendly, almost zero waiting time, and very accommodating. Dr. Thurston is quick and I feel like he really knows what he is doing. I would highly recommend Dr. Thurston and his practice.

Office was friendly, clean and modern. I met with Dr. Courtney, and she was wonderful. She took time to show me my x-rays and discuss what she was seeing - a real teaching experience which I have found rare with medical professionals and patients. Will be returning, and recommending to friends!

Time can only tell but so far the prices and service were very acceptable. The office is also quite well equipped and upkept in contrast to most establishments in the region. Definitely worth a try.
