About Dr. Rene Horvilleur
Dr. René Horvilleur, DDS is a specialist in Prosthodontics and Implant Dentistry, completed a two-year postgraduate program in prosthodontics at the College of Dentistry, New York University in 1981. From 1981-1986, Dr. Horvilleur participated in a five-year fellowship at the Dental Center of Peninsula Hospital in Far Rockaway, New York, teaching prosthodontics, becoming the chief attending clinical Prosthodontist at the Dental Center. During this period, Dr. Horvilleur also worked in a multidiscipline, hospital-based private practice. In 1987, Dr. Horvilleur earned his second DDS degree from the
College of Dentistry at New York University.
Due to his strong interest in implant dentistry and desire to advance its application in his own practice, after completing all of the requirements for the implant educational program, Dr. Horvilleur received a Diplomate title from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists in December 1992. Dr. Horvilleur is an active instructor and teaches Prosthodontics and Implant Dentistry to his colleagues, both nationally and internationally, presenting his courses in numerous cities both in the US and all over the world.

I can’t say enough great things about Dr. Horvilleur! He is indispensable.
Our frustration’s with front desk turnover as they seem to not be able to carry forward prior communication regarding coverage for cleanings and other dental work - therefore there is continuous miscommunication.
But Dr Horvilleur is an absolute gem! Efficient, honest, friendly and professional.

Dr. Horvilleur has been my dentist for several years. He is a great clinician and has a friendly, even humorous personality. I have never had a bad experience there. His office staff is welcoming and efficient. They never fail to take the time to give complete information and accommodate a patient's billing and scheduling needs. His hygienists are thorough and professional. If you need to pause the cleaning for any reason, they do so with a friendly, helpful attitude. I would recommend Dr. Horvilleur to friends and family.

I came in to the office in excruciating pain. Dr. Horvilleur took the time to listen to my concerns. He made a recommendation on treatment but left the overall decision to me which I was so happy with. I didn’t feel pressured to just follow what the doctor said . I specifically asked cypresses that pain from the needles kept me away from the dentist & Dr. H made sure I was comfortable and relaxed before he began numbing my mouth. He pulled the tooth and I literally didn’t feel a thing . When I say nothing I mean nothing. I genuinely dread going to the dentist but based off this one interaction I’m now a new patient. I look forward to improving my smile with Dr. Horvilleur.

I have known Dr. Horvilleur for well over 25 years. He is a top professional, top expert and always puts his patients' needs first. He listens intently to your concerns, and always does what's best for your mouth, not his cash register. I trust him and you can, too. I have a crown he put in over 25 years ago, and it's still perfect! He has integrity, merit, is deeply moral and professional and he has always done exceptional work. I recommend him without hesitation.

I arrived for a morning appointment and the office was ready and waiting for me. I was seen immediately by Dr. Horvilleur. He discussed the problem and offered a variety of anesthesia methods to take care of any pain. I did not need it for this procedure and he fixed my problem!

Dr. Horvilleur is a perfectionist--which is what you need when trying to get a good fit for implant teeth, a smooth bite, with color consistent with other teeth. I found that it takes time to get a beautiful, natural looking smile, but it was worth it. Dr. Horvilleur took care to explain what he was aiming for during each step, to reach an agreement with me. The office works efficiently, and there is never a wait to get in. I highly recommend Dr. Horvilleur.
