About Dr. Richard Julius Walicki

“Dr. Richard,” as he has become known in our office, recently moved to California from Philadelphia, PA, after selling his dental practice in January 2018. A graduate of Temple University School of Dentistry, Dr. Richard established his Philadelphia practice in 1990, where he provided comprehensive dental services as a solo practitioner. He and Dr. Han were pleased to discover they share a similar practice philosophy, making his transition into our practice seamless. Among the services he now provides are cosmetic treatments such as veneers, crowns, onlays, and tooth-colored fillings. He is also highly experienced in restoring implant cases and has a strong background in fabricating removable prosthetics (dentures). Patients requiring extractions have already commented on how he puts them at ease and keeps them comfortable throughout the procedure. He will also work with Dr. Han to provide Invisalign® services in the office, expanding the care available to our patients. Like Dr. Han, Dr. Richard believes it is important that patients understand their dental condition so they can take an active role in their health. Their combined objective is to bring patients to a state of comfort, function, and stability—versus constantly needing treatment at every visit. The ultimate goal is to reach the point where patients only require routine maintenance. Dr. Richard takes the time to listen and provide the best care possible. Rather than feeling rushed, patients will find that Dr. Walicki, and all of us at Mint Dental Loft, are here to help, understand, and serve their dental needs. He continues to pursue excellence in care by studying advanced dental concepts through ongoing continuing education. Before dentistry, Dr. Walicki served as a Legislative Aide in both houses of Congress. He also holds an advanced degree from Georgetown University and, while born in the U.S., is fluent in Polish. He enjoys spending time with his wife and volunteering in community service projects.
