About Dr. Robert A. Rees
Dr. Robert A. Rees is a dentist who caters to the locals in and around La Jolla, CA. He is available for consultations and examinations at his private practice, where he does his best to make sure that patient visits are comfortable and enjoyable.
Dr. Rees received his dental degree from Loyola University Chicago. Post this, he attended Esthetic Professionals, where he completed two residencies, one in full mouth reconstructive surgery and the other in implant and cosmetic dentistry. He also holds active memberships in the American Dental Association and the San Diego County Dental Society.
Dr. Rees recognizes that many patients may not be completely comfortable with visiting a dentist. Hence, he endeavors to make dental visits a low-stress experience with minimal discomfort. He understands the importance of quality care and believes in delivering it seamlessly along with professional patient service. Outside of his clinical career, he is a professional musician and does weight lifting.
Appointment Cancellation Policy:
We strive to render excellent dental care to you and the rest of our patients. In an attempt to be consistent with this, we have an appointment cancellation policy. When an appointment is scheduled, the time has been set aside for you and when it is missed, that time cannot be used to treat another patient.
We require that you give our office 48 hour notice in the event that you need to reschedule your appointment. This allows other patients to be scheduled with Dr. Rees. If you miss an appointment without contacting our office within the required time, this is considered a missed appointment. A fee of $100 will be charged to you and will be your direct responsibility.

Nicest visit I've ever had to a dentist! The woman at the front desk was friendly and welcoming, Dr. Rees's assistant (I assume a dental hygienist) was very nice, and Dr. Rees himself was very kind. He made it a point to make me comfortable, asked about my concerns, fears, and what I like in a dentist. He knows his stuff and is both very thorough and communicative, explaining what he was doing every step of the way. Him and his staff made a genuine effort to make me feel comfortable and it was overall a great experience. Not afraid to go to the dentist anymore! If you're on the fence, give him a shot, I really think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

I have not seen a dentist since before the pandemic started. This visit was long overdue. I work in La Jolla and was seeking a provider that was close to my job. Well, I need to look no further because not only have I found a great provider but the office is close, convenient and the staff is simply wonderful!
Dr. Rees put me at ease and explained my treatment plan and provided me with great advice regarding my oral health. I am pleased with my visit and look forward to seeing Dr. Rees and his staff at least twice a year!

Doc seemed all around knowledgable and clearly cares, spent at least 20 minutes just getting my history, seeing what I was looking for out of my treatment and talking me through the options. Has a teaching background and seems very well versed in his trade. Also all around cool guy, great demeanor/bedside manner if you will.
I was greeted very warmly at the front desk, seen almost immediately, and when I told them I had another appointment lined up elsewhere they helped me get out of there on time. Very respectful and accommodating team, this is a rare find IMO.
Liked Dr. Rees and Co. a lot and will certainly be using them from here on out. You should too!

I always have a great experience with Dr. Rees and his staff! I am welcomed with a warm greeting from Claire (Front Office Manager) and enjoy reconnecting with her each time I am there. The dental assistants are very helpful. And Dr. Rees is amazing (and funny!). He has such a calming way about him and keeps me informed of each step he takes. I strongly recommend Dr. Rees to new patients as I am confident they will be pleased with his work and with the entire dental office.

Dr. Robert Reese was everything I could ask for in a Dentist. In 2 years I have been through a number of dentists in the San Diego area with no success of a true dentist home. Through much Prayer and referrals from my insurance company, I found Dr. Reese. It is not only him but his entire staff, I would recommend to anyone. They are all warm, courteous, and professional in there demeanor. Clair is a wiz when it comes to working with the insurance agencies to find the best route to save time and best of all Money for her patients. Over all, I feel I have found a home and would Highly recommend Dr. Reese and staff to anyone..! :})
