About Dr. Robert Wilson

A native of Georgia, Dr. Wilson earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine at the Medical College of Georgia. During his time at MCG, he served as co-chief resident and was entrusted with training new residents in surgical dental implant placement and IV sedation. He also earned his fellowship in dental implantology while completing a residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry and a hospital-based General Practice residency. Before founding Warner Parks Family Dental in Nashville, Dr. WIlson worked for seven years at Mobley Family Dentistry in Athens, GA. He also spent time in Athens as a part-time instructor for MCG, mentoring future dentists in both AEGD and GPR programs. Dr. Wilson’s treatment philosophy is based in education and trust. He strives to make each visit to our Nashville office feel more like catching up with a friend than going to the dentist, but he's also interested in empowering you to feel great about your oral health. Whether you're visiting for a routine exam or an advanced restorative treatment, the level of quality and communication will remain the same. With extensive training in IV sedation, cosmetic dentistry, implant dentistry, and more, Dr. Wilson provides full-scope dental care for patients from all walks of life. He believes in a conservative approach and will only recommend what’s needed to help you make the best decisions for your comfort and health. Dr. Wilson is an Eagle Scout, an avid outdoorsman, and a proud Nashvillian. When he’s not here at Warner Parks Family Dental, you’ll find him hiking, fishing, gardening, or supporting local conservation efforts through his work with Friends of Warner Parks. He and his wife Anne, also a Nashville native, attend West End United Methodist Church and are proud to be raising their two daughters (and their Boykin Spaniel, Henry) in the city they love.
