About Dr. Rony Mashihi
Dr. Rony Mashihi is the program co-director and clinical instructor of Implantology and Prosthetics at the Linhart Continuing Dental Education Program at NYU College of Dentistry. He is a graduate of NYU where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He then completed a Master of Public Health in epidemiological research, and received certificates in surgical and prosthetic implant dentistry, and full mouth rehabilitation and reconstruction. Additionally Dr. Mashihi has extensive training and experience in pediatric dentistry, orthodontics and Invisalign therapy.
Dr. Mashihi attended Lycée Français de New York, received his International Baccalaureate Diploma from the United Nations International School and his BA from New York University.
With years of practice and teaching in prosthetic and implant dentistry, Rony Mashihi has become an expert in full mouth rehabilitation and reconstruction. He has a gentle touch and uses a personable, custom approach in designing each smile using the latest digital tomography and oral scanning, 3D printing and ceramic milling technology to achieve the highest level of accuracy and precision.
Dr. Mashihi aims to improve people’s lives through his care. His holistic philosophy combines biology, art and technological engineering to achieve optimal oral health, function and esthetics as part of overall health and wellness.

I had a dental emergency and I was trying to get seen by multiple doctors. I was in excruciating pain and this office did not care. Said I missed my appointment by 15 minutes and had to wait another 3 hours in order to be seen with the doctor. The staff was not helpful at all no matter how much I pleaded with them about the pain I was in and all the running around I was doing just to be seen by a doctor. Would not recommend this place at all!

Overall, I would say the visit was ok. During my x-ray my inner gums got scratched and I barely got an apology. i had to ask multiple times to change the mouth piece.
They thoroughly cleaned my teeth. I wish I had asked more about the fluoride treatment such as how long does it stay on or given an explanation of the what not to do other than not eating and drinking for 2 hours and not brushing until night time. I was not able to drink my soup as it kept touching the paste and I thought the recommended two hours was the time necessary for the fluoride to finish working.

Dentist appointments are always nerve wracking experiences, but the staff at this facility made it as easy as possible. They took X-rays and photos of my mouth to help determine what needs to be done. It helped when explaining it to me. I had a general cleaning done, and had to make another appointment for next steps.

This was my first time at this dental office for a routine checkup and cleaning and I had a great experience. The office assistant was very nice and helpful with paperwork and with booking my next appointment. I was seen right away and had some X-rays taken. Dr. Rony Mashihi made me feel comfortable so I was able to ask any questions or concerns about my oral health. I received informative responses as he went through my x-rays and cleaning. This dentist was AMAZING. Went in for an emergency visit to fix a tooth crown. He did exactly what was needed and provided insight for future health. While he doesn't take our dental insurance he did work with us to make this appointment financially possible. We will do what we can to try to keep him as our family dentist moving forward.
