About Dr. Roy Moscattini

Dr. Moscattini was born and raised in Toronto, Canada, to parents of Italian heritage. After attending high school in Toronto, he played on the professional tennis circuit.
He then attended Mississippi State University, where he majored in chemistry/pre-dental on a full tennis scholarship, earning All-American status. It was there that he met and married his wife, Lori, in 1991.
Dr. Moscattini earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Tennessee School of Dentistry in Memphis in 1996. That same year, he purchased a dental practice from a retiring dentist.
As a member of the Georgia Dental Association, the American Dental Association, and the Hinman Dental Society, he continually updates his dental knowledge and skills to incorporate the most current technology and procedures.
Dr. Moscattini enjoys running, golf, reading, and traveling. He looks forward to meeting you!

My first appointment at Moscattini Dental was amazing! The office was very clean and inviting. Kathy at the front reception was welcoming and kind. Emily, who assisted chairside was knowledgeable and helpful in soothing my nerves. Dr. Roy Moscattini was professional, warm, gentle, caring and even added a bit of chairside humor. Overall, I would recommend Moscattini Dental to anyone seeking exceptional and personable dental care.

The brick outside is beautiful {I just had to say}. I was greeted by a very pleasant and welcoming receptionist. I was seen directly by the hygienist Lisa who was very professional, light and thorough. Dr. Moscattini is very quiet spoken but to the point. I was told what I needed to get done and my options, which I appreciate directness. I planned my next visit in six months. ?

I would say the best customer service I have had. So nice and polite to everyone. They go out of their way to find a time or appt time for you if they can find it. So professional and all the staff are very friendly and even the dentist. My dental hygienist was the best, inform me with instructions of what I should do and what I can do better and super nice. They even knew it was my birthday the day before and this is first time I’ve had an appt where they said happy birthday personally. Would definitely recommend to come and get all dental work done here.

I had an awful experience here. The hygienist who did my cleaning was so rude. First of all I’m a dentist but I don’t have the license to practice here because I just moved in recently, so my review will be based on that. The hygienist was NOT updated on the new protocol for assessing cavities from the American Dental Association + she said my wisdom teeth were in a bad position and I should pull them out when they were just impacted in a fine position for years and it’s so clear they will never erupt. + she was so aggressive while doing the scaling! She was also inconsiderate when she took my x-rays. I asked her to use cotton gauze underneath the film but she said she can’t although she could. I expressed pain and she did not even express empathy which is the least she could do. Overall she was so not welcoming, did not even bother to fake a smile. Dr. Roy seemed like a nice man tho, we did not interact much he just came in for a fast examination and said everything was okay.

Overall an amazing experience. Everyone there was very kind and approachable. The dental assistant did an awesome job with me. I ashamed to say I haven’t had any work done for at least 4 years. For one reason or another. Never the less she made me feel welcome, comfortable and assured me that we will get things back on track. The Dr. was awesome as well while are meeting was brief, he was was very kind. I would recommend anyone to his establishment. I drove almost 4hr there and back. This will be my permanent dentist. Thank you guys for all your help. And that you zocdoc for making the process easy to get started.

Let.me start off by saying the doctor and staff here are amazing and very professional. The office is very clean and all cdc regulated. After my bad experience with another dental practice they made me most comfortable even in my moment of weaknes they wiped my tears. So ecstatic to have had the pleasure of being under the care of people who treat you like family.
