?We will work together to help you achieve a beautiful and healthy smile.? Dr. Rudy Valente grew up in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago and currently lives in Park Ridge with his wife and two sons. Dr. Valente's interest in orthodontics began during his teenage years. His interest was sparked and he was motivated to choose the path of dentistry, as a close family friend was an orthodontist. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Illinois, Chicago, followed by a Certificate in Orthodontics and completed his residency there as well. For him, one of the most fulfilling parts of being a dentist is creating beautiful smiles for his patients. His passion for this field has led him to perform research with orthodontic bonding agents, which has been published in the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. In his free time, Dr. Valente enjoys spending time with his family, appreciating music, playing tennis, golf, and practicing martial arts.
