About Dr. Ruiwen Ma

Dr. Ruiwen Ma started her dentistry journey in China, where she completed her first round of dental school and prosthodontic residency. She earned her Bachelor in Dentistry, Master in Dentistry at Shandong University (China), and Master of Science in Craniofacial Molecular Biology at Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of the University of Southern California. She was devoted to analyzing the best material combinations and then enamel regeneration research. Even though dental research is fascinating, Dr. Ma is more passionate about making immediate pain relief and cosmetic improvement for her patients. She advanced her education and skills further in the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, the top dental school in US, then spent numerous continue education hours on minimally invasive dental extractions, implant placement and restoration, all-on-4 procedures, detail oriented root canal treatment, conventional braces and Invisalign, conventional and prep-less veneers/crowns/bridges, removable partial and dentures, full mouth habitation, sleep apnea, minimal sedation, digital dentistry, etc. Went through ups and downs in life, Dr. Ma understands that every patient has a unique dental condition, personal preference, and final goals, so she is there to provide you with the personalized plans and alternatives to fit your individual needs. Dr. Ma is proficient in all aspects of dentistry, however, she is also supported with all kinds of dental specialists, whom Dr. Ma has never been hesitant to refer her patients to if they could have a better outcome with her colleagues.
