About Dr. Ryan M. Knight

Dr. Knight is a lifelong resident of Carroll County Maryland and the surrounding areas. Upon graduation, he served with the United States Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases in the department of Viral Therapeutics working with viruses, such as Ebola and Yellow Fever. Dr. Knight became very interested in dentistry while serving as a clerk for Oral Surgery and for Periodontal Surgery. As Dr. Knight’s passion for dentistry grew, he continued to grow his education forward with a primary focus in Implant and Reconstructive Dentistry, which he now practices in Westminster, Maryland. Dr. Knight has most recently been awarded and will be recognized as a diplomate from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. Diplomate status remains the highest credential awarded by the International Congress of Oral Implantologist. Less than 2% of dentists in the United States and Canada combined and less than 1,500 dentists worldwide have achieved this level of distinction. Dr. Knight is an active member of the American Dental Association, DICOI, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Academy of Osseointegration, and The Maryland Academy of General Dentistry.

The staff was incredibly friendly and very informative throughout the process. Honestly, I am just wowed by the way I was treated here. I completed my paperwork prior to arriving so I was in the waiting room for maybe a total of two minutes if that. Just overall a great experience and frankly, probably the best I’ve been treated anywhere for any medical or dental appointment.
