“I had a super early appointment new patient appointment before work and they were very quick with taking new x-rays, full teeth cleaning and review of the x-rays. The hygienist was very detail oriented and paid extra care around my permanent retainer on the bottom teeth. They also cleaned my retainer for me. It was a very friendly office and I got to work on time! Really glad I found them. ”

With my family's busy schedule, Sherry at the front desk is always willing and able to find time to get us in for our cleanings (which are painless and pretty quick!) Ryan has even cleaned my teeth before! He couldn't be nicer, and it's a family business -- Ryan's Grandfather and Dad are the original Dr. Starr's! Wait time is basically zero, too. You just can't go wrong! :-)”

About Dr. Ryan Starr
Dr. Ryan Starr graduated from Midwestern University School of Dental Medicine in 2017, after which he completed a one-year post-doctorate program in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at the University of California, San Francisco.
He spent the next two years working in genetic research for Stanford University and private companies in the Sacramento area, ultimately catching dental fever just like three generations of Starrs before him. He loves patient care and is very happy as a dentist.
Dr. Ryan and his wife Merika, a practicing pharmacist in Menlo Park, welcomed their first daughter Amelia Jane Starr in January 2019. Amelia is as yet undecided as to whether she will carry the family business into a fifth generation.

Dr Starr is an excellent dentist. I am in very good hands with Dr Starr. He always explains things clearly, and he never recommends unnecessary tests or procedures. He is also very kind and pleasant with an excellent bedside manner. The office staff is so nice and friendly and helpful! The hygienists are top-notch and very thorough in cleaning my teeth. It is a pleasure to go to the dentist when you are seen at Dr Starr's office!

I am so grateful for finding Dr Ryan and his dental practice.
I’ve been needing a new dentist anyway and then I chipped my front tooth.
Less than 24 hours later I have my tooth restored and I have my new dentist!
Dr Ryan Starr is a great listener and communicator and explained everything as we made a plan together for my dental care.
The whole experience of being in this office with Dr Ryan and his fabulous staff was so positive and very enjoyable. I am still smiling ??
