“Really positive experience as a first-time patient at Upper East Smiles. Showed up to the office for the 9 am appt 20 min early and completed a couple forms. By 9:07 pm, the hygienist took me into an exam room and was very friendly and attentive listening to my dental history and needs. She took her time during intake and during the cleaning. Dr. Jakarta was very friendly and listened to my concerns and spent time performing the examination. Overall, the office was clean, staff were friendly and timely, and the doctor listened and was caring. I would highly recommend this facility and doctor to a friend”

“The dental assistant, I believe her name was Melissa? She was so good! I did not feel the cleaning at all, and I went into it very worried it’d be a bad experience. It was amazing! The dentist was friendly too and addressed my concerns. Looking forward to returning and continuing my oral health!”

My first time here and I loved it. The hygienist was incredibly thorough and had a great bedside manner. The dentist was lovely and thoughtful. Didn’t for a second feel like any procedures or products were pushed on me. Recommended the practice to my wife and will be back.

Before upper east smiles, I had been told that I had an exorbitant amount of cavities and needed root canals along with oral surgery. Because of that, I was terrified and avoided dentists for 4 years. Fast forward to my experience at upper east smiles, my teeth were actually complimented and I was told that I didn’t have any cavities and did not need any root canals. I almost cried tears of relief. The dentist and hygienist were so kind and helped relieve my anxiety about visiting dentists, I would definitely recommend trusting upper east smiles with your dental care.
