About Dr. Sahar Mehr
I am Dr. Sahar Mehr, a general and cosmetic dentist. I began my career in 2005 and joined the South Bay community in 2020. I am genuinely grateful for the opportunity to provide dental care to the beloved people of Torrance and the South Bay.
After receiving my Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Southern California School of Dentistry, one of the most well-known dental schools in the country, I have devoted my life to excelling at my job and providing high-quality dental care for my patients. Being passionate about dentistry, I continuously conduct research and attend continuing education courses to stay updated with recent technologies and data in the dental field; as a result, I have published several articles in peer-reviewed journals.
I understand that many patients associate dental care with stress and tension, and I am completely familiar with these feelings when my patients sit in the dental chair for the first time. Hence, my focus is on comforting them, earning their trust, and providing a stress-free atmosphere in our office. As a private practice owner and practitioner, I highly value the doctor-patient relationship and do my best to address their concerns.
One of my favorite aspects of dentistry is smile makeovers. Creating a natural-looking smile requires deep attention to detail; I love the stories behind each smile, which guide me to give patients their own version of a smile and the confidence they deserve.
I enjoy making new friends, chatting with people, and spending my spare time reading books, cooking, and hiking with my husband.

Dr. Sahar is absolutely amazing. Not only did they fit me in last minute on a saturday for my tooth that popped off, but she made a new tooth that looked a million times better and took the time to do it right. Very professional and knowledgeable. Best dentists ever. Dr. Reza and Dr. Sahar are polite and so are the staff! The dental office was clean and very welcoming. I was able to get a filling and I didn't feel a thing during my procedure. I recommend them to all of my friends and family.

I highly rccommend this dental office as they treat you like family here. I had a crown done and the process was very easy and smooth thanks to the kind doctor and dental assistants. I also love that they follow up with you the next day.

Dr. Sahar is incredible, not only has she taken great care of my teeth, but also she is lovely to speak with at every appointment. She explained every thing in a very clear manner. She did a great job on my teeth, natural looking vencers for my front teeth after smile design. I highly recommend becoming her patient.

Dr. Sahar is amazing, I was nervous being that this was my first experience with crown but she is an amazing proffessional. made me very comfortable and calm. I feel better after seeing her. I'm always greeted with a smile. I have referred many friends and would say it's definitely worth a visit!

After coming into sparkle family dentistry for an emergency, I am no longer scared to come to the dentist. Dr. Sahar and Dr. Reza are amazing at what they do. Dr. Sahar and the rest of the staff were able to get me my permanant crowns in just 3 painless visits. I truly felt no pain through out any of the visits or after the visits. I am really happy and I recommed sparkle family for any dental needs.

Dr. Sahar is very kind, knowledeable and proffesional. I went to her office for a checkup and to improve my smile. Dr. Sahar listened to all my concerns Very patiently and answered all my questions I was very happy with my exam appointment and decided to go back for treatment which was the right decision I love my new smile!
