Dr. SAIMA Sheikh earned her BDS degree from Peshawar, Pakistan. She then moved to USA after getting married. She pursued a DDS degree from UIC of dentistry in 2011.
Since then she has been taking different CE courses to keep her uptodate with advances in the field of dentistry and expand her knowledge.
She is a wife and a mother to 2 boys. Her hobby is traveling and spending time with her family.

I left traumatized! One week later I’m still in pain, I’m waiting for my stitches to heal so I can I can get a 2nd opinion. This doctor was rough, hit my top teeth with the extraction tool she used to remove the tooth at the bottom below the ones she hit, she stabbed my lips with the needle she used to stitch my wound, she applied so much pressure on my lips knowing I had Invisalign, the back flesh part of my gums are completely bruised and finally the swelling is decreasing. When I got to my car I looked in the mirror and noticed how she didn’t even wipe my face or my neck, I still had blood all on the side where the extraction happened, blood stains on my neck. I should’ve known it was a warning to not get work done here when I seen all her bills layed out on her desk too. And literally 15min after I left her office, I dealt with an excruciating pain! I wanted to check into a hospital because of how bad I was in pain! I recommend where they put you to sleep & another office

When I got there the front desk area was super messy a bunch of documents scattered all over the desk (hoping it’s not patient records) the exam room’s waste basket was full so that was sort of a turn off. She spent a total of 10 mins cleaning my teeth and told me I had a million cavities which i doubt since I see the dentist regularly. The reason I switched to her office was she was closer to my home and in network. She was nice but too unorganized for me.

I had a fantastic dental visit at Floss N Gloss Dental, and I wanted to share my experience! Dr. Saima Sheikh was friendly, professional, and put me at ease.
The office itself has a clean and calming atmosphere, which definitely helped manage any dental anxieties. She even offered me the remote for the smart TV (I listen to a podcast) during the procedure. By default the office is set with a calming music
