Dr. Saimon Ramos was born in Brazil and in 1998 he moved with his parents and brother to the Greater Boston Area. Then, Dr. Ramos moved to Gainesville to attend the University of Florida College of Dentistry. After achieving his Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) degree, Dr. Ramos attended the University of Florida AEGD program (Advanced Education in General Dentistry) located in Seminole, Florida. While in residency, Dr. Ramos was able to further his training in all areas of dentistry. In 2016 he was awarded Fellowship in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and in 2019 he was awarded Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry. Moving to Florida to pursue his dream of becoming a dentist turned out to be the best move he ever made. Not only did he become a Gator, but he also met the love of his life, Lauren. Dr. Ramos and Lauren are now married and have welcomed a new addition to their family, Gabriella. Dr. Ramos is fluent in Portuguese, loves travel, reading, the beach, soccer, spending time with his family, and cheering on the Gators.
