About Dr. Sam Rahimi-Vijeh

Dr. Sam Vijeh is a Bay Area native who grew up in Contra Costa County. He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) at A.T. Still University, Mesa, Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health (ASDOH). He chose this program as it was the only school in the country with a strong emphasis on public health dentistry. It offered the opportunity to hone his skills in high-needs areas. While rotating through community health clinics, he discovered his passion for dentistry focused on patient-centered care and the conservation of tooth structure. Dr. Vijeh has rotated through community health clinics across the country, including rural New Mexico, inner cities of Washington State, and clinics in Concord, CA. In these settings, he was able to help those most in need and find creative solutions for patients who could not afford ideal treatment. Following his time in public health dentistry, Dr. Vijeh further honed his skills in private practice, working in a prosthodontist's office. There, he expanded his knowledge in prosthetic dentistry, surgery, and digital dentistry. During these years, Dr. Vijeh designed his own crowns, 3D printed them, and delivered them to his patients. He prides himself on conservative yet thorough treatment planning and patient education. Dr. Vijeh has a passion for all phases of dentistry, from restorative to oral surgery to implants. He is actively learning and staying on the cutting edge of the field as he pursues his fellowship in Advanced General Dentistry (AGD). Dr. Vijeh enjoys all styles of music, NBA basketball, cooking, and his dog, Winnie. In his free time, he loves to hike, learn guitar, and golf. He is thrilled to be serving this community and can't wait to meet you and help you improve your oral and overall health!
