I did not feel the dental cleaning was thorough enough. The water pick was used, but then very minimal scraping with the dental tool. I was able to scrape missed buildup off with my fingernail (when double checking the sensation) after my appt. I was unhappy with this compared to my previous dentist. I get biannual cleanings to rid of any plaque buildup and this was not done up to my standards.

Dr. Shapiro was amazing! I hadn’t been to the dentist for a few years, and she made me feel comfortable, was extremely knowledgeable and honest, and didn’t try to upsell me or push me to get procedures I don’t need. The icing on the cake is that her cleaning technique didn’t hurt my teeth and gums like so many dentists and hygienists have in the past. Seriously, an A+ experience.

Dr. Shapiro is such a breath of fresh air! I don’t think I’ve ever had such an easy dentist appointment before her.
She is delightful, walked me through the whole appointment and is overall very pleasant.
I will be recommending her to anyone I know who’s looking for a good dentist.

It was great! Dr. Shapiro explained everything going on with my teeth and helped me feel very comfortable by explaining each step for the filling that I got. Also she helped me to book a teeth cleaning right afterwards with Patti, the very wonderful hygienist. Overall a great experience and I'll definitely be returning.

Lovely experience, Dr. Shapiro and her co worker Sam were a delight to have work on me. The cleaning was very through and painless, doc would even ask me if I’m doing ok — very comforting. I had two visits with Dr Shapiro. I have had few dentists so far in the past. For the first time I feel like I found a dentist that I can truly trust.
