About Dr. Samir Rana
Dr. Samir Rana is a highly skilled Lincoln Park dentist dedicated to providing gentle and effective care to patients of all dental backgrounds. A graduate of Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, and the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree, Dr. Rana is passionate about his field. He believes that excellent oral health begins with education and prevention and has made it his mission to enlighten patients on ways they can take greater control over their own dental health. Dr. Rana is committed to continuing education and staying current with the latest advancements in oral health and dentistry.
He has a 3-year-old daughter, Sierra, who loves to come to the office and help reorganize the treasure chest. In his free time, Dr. Rana enjoys playing golf and bocce. He also gives back to the community by helping senior citizens and performing oral cancer screenings. His motto in life is to have fun and enjoy it while working and helping others. “I want to treat families and grow with them.”
Born and raised in Passaic, educated at Rutgers and UMDNJ, and having worked at Hoffman-LaRoche, Dr. Rana now practices in Lincoln Park and Totowa. He continually expands his knowledge through seminars held worldwide with top peers, including his most recent Implant Global Conference in the French Riviera, France. Dr. Rana has found a niche in performing full mouth reconstructions and applying cosmetic dentistry to each procedure. He is an Invisalign Preferred Provider and has successfully completed many challenging Invisalign cases. Dr. Rana also places implants for missing teeth and for implant-supported dentures.
