About Dr. Sandip Sachar
NYC dentist Dr. Sachar has a simple philosophy: “Care for your patients and perform dentistry on them the way you would want it performed on yourself.” She provides a full-service dental practice in Midtown Manhattan, New York City, offering everything from cleanings and fillings to implants, Invisalign, and smile makeovers. Her gentle touch and personable nature make this practice feel more like a family.
Our goal is healthy teeth and gums for life, using the most conservative treatment options available. “Less is more,” says Dr. Sachar.
After earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook, Dr. Sachar completed residencies in General Practice at New York Hospital Queens and Wyckoff Heights Medical Center, where she served as chief resident. She then pursued advanced dental training at Spear Education in Scottsdale, Arizona. This comprehensive program enhanced her expertise in managing complex cases involving occlusion, TMJ, full mouth reconstruction, cosmetic dentistry, porcelain veneers, and whole smile makeovers. She later became a member of the Spear Education Faculty Club.
Dr. Sachar is passionate about preventive dentistry and always strives to be as conservative as possible. She believes in using the least toxic dental materials and the least invasive procedures whenever possible.
Currently, Dr. Sachar serves on the Board of the Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine Alumni Association and mentors graduating dental students. She is also an active member of the American Dental Association and the New York County Dental Society.

Best dental experience I have ever had! Don't think there are many offices where you can say that you found the receptionist, hygienist, and dentist all incredibly competent and welcoming. I was seen right away and given all information in a very thorough manner. Dr. Wong was able to pull my two remaining wisdom teeth a mere two days after my initial appointment and without even pressuring me to do so. Very glad I tried out this office!

Dr Sachar's staff was awesome. totally professional. I have a gag reflex and they were totally accommodating and patient with me. I arrived about 15 mins early for my appointment they took me right away.

The women at the front desk were super acommodating and sweet. While I had to wait 15 minutes past my appointment to go in, I didn't mind. There was pleasant music playing and comfy couches.
Dr. Sachar explained the issue with my impacted tooth clearly and efficiently, referring me to an oral surgeon for my extration.
Then Dr. Shen came in for my cleaning. She was very thorough with the cleaning and checkup, talked through what she was doing, and explained how I would do better to take care of my teeth in between cleanings.
Dr. Wong was incredibly personable as well, puttinf me at ease (or at least a calm as I can be in a dentist's office!)
Would recommend to anyone looking for a new dentist.

Today was my first visit and my first impression of Dr. Sachar and her staff was great! Everyone was friendly and professional and even though I was running late I was in and out really quickly. The office is very pretty and clean and they seem to be on an electronic file system for notes and Xrays so there was no time wasted with writing down things or processing the Xrays.
