About Dr. Sang Gyu Shin

Dr. Eric Shin has lived in the Inland Empire area since 2002. He graduated from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry, earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 2010. He is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and Tri-County Dental Society. Dr. Shin has been practicing general and family dentistry, including restorative, implant, and cosmetic dentistry, since 2010. With the extent of his knowledge and skills, the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC invited Dr. Shin to become an adjunct faculty member in the Department of Prosthodontics. He has been teaching and preparing dental students to become skilled and caring dentists. He has traveled the country and spent hundreds of hours in seminars, study clubs, and other continuing education courses to stay current on advances in the field of dentistry. Following his belief in giving back to the community, Dr. Shin has participated in dental mission trips to serve those in need through several church organizations and a volunteer organization providing community services to promote oral health care. Dr. Shin is a proud father of two sons and one daughter—Jeremy, Rachel, and Philip. His wife, Jin, and he enjoy spending quality time with their families. His personal hobbies include golf, swimming, and CrossFit.
