Dr. Sara Bañuelos received her general dentistry degree from the University of Guadalajara. She then went on to complete her graduate training at Loyola University School of Dentistry, where she finished the specialty training program in Prosthodontics. Dr. Bañuelos has over twenty years of experience practicing family and cosmetic dentistry, as well as more complex cases of full mouth rehabilitation. She held a part-time faculty position in the Fixed Prosthodontics Department for seven years and is affiliated with several study groups and the American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics, where she served as a member of the admissions committee for three years. Dr. Bañuelos has done charity work in Central America (Honduras) with her daughter Christina serving underprivileged communities. She enjoyed helping people who were very grateful for the dental care they received. Dr. Bañuelos is passionate about providing and restoring oral health to her patients. She is fluent in both English and Spanish. Dr. Bañuelos lives in the Chicago Western suburbs. She loves her family life with her two children, she enjoys working out, dancing, traveling, and cooking.
