About Dr. Sara Hamzeinejad
Dr. Hamzei grew up in Southern California and completed her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Biology with a focus on stem cell research at UC San Diego. While volunteering and later managing the UCSD Free Dental Clinics for underserved San Diego communities, she discovered her passion for dentistry. She earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania, graduating with honors in Community Oral Health. Dr. Hamzei then completed a General Practice Residency in complex and hospital-based dentistry at St. Barnabas Hospital in New York.
After practicing as a general dentist in Los Angeles, she returned to New York City to complete specialty training in endodontics at Columbia University. Dr. Hamzei is an active member of the American Association of Endodontists and the American Dental Association and is committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care. In her free time she enjoys painting, reading, live music, dining at notable restaurants, outdoor activities, and traveling.
