About Dr. Sassan Kafayi

**Currently treating children ages 11 and up** **Currently only accepting PPO plans (No HMO)** Dr. Sassan Kafayi concentrates his practice on the precision of a good bite and the proper maintenance of healthy white teeth. When performing cosmetic dentistry or treating clients for TMJ, Dr. Kafayi is an expert in precise dental work. He invests in state-of-the-art equipment to ensure his clients receive the best care. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco in 1994 and is currently a part-time faculty member at the University of the Pacific. Dr. Kafayi has taken numerous continuing education courses in dentistry, including completion of the two-year program of the world-renowned Foundation for Advanced Continuing Education (F.A.C.E.). At F.A.C.E., the focus is on diagnosing and treating TMJ and occlusion (bite) issues. He is currently taking courses in implant dentistry and is writing an article for the CDA Journal. Dr. Kafayi is a member of several dental and specialty associations, including the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and San Francisco Dental Society. As a dedicated father of two, Dr. Kafayi has many interests outside of dentistry. He enjoys skiing, water skiing, swimming, and soccer.
