Dr. Scott Kamentiz was born and raised in Marlboro, NJ, and currently resides in New York City. He received his doctorate in Dental Surgery at the prestigious New York University College of Dentistry, graduating with honors in pediatric dentistry. His passion for pediatric dentistry was further enhanced while he was at NYU College of Dentistry on an outreach mission in Kathmandu, Nepal. During his time there, he fell in love with helping children improve their oral health while making the process fun and enjoyable. This life changing experience has set him on a course to help children in his community create life long oral habits that promote healthiness, happiness and confidence.
After dental school, Dr. Scott received two years of advanced specialty training in pediatrics at Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident. He has extensive experience practicing pediatric dentistry in a private practice setting, and has made it his mission to redefine the modern pediatric dental experience in NYC.

I highly recommend this dentist, it was the best experience I have encountered with dental physician. The bedside manner was friendly professional and most important the dentist was kind and understanding. My duagther has autism and he treated us with respect, patience and willingness to help her understand the importance of dental health. The staff were in great spirits and knowledgable. I had such a great experience that i decided to see if i can visit any of their dentists that work on adults. This has been the best dental experience for children, i will travel miles to visit this office and dentist

All I can say is wow. I've never actually known the diffrence between a pediatric dentist and a general dentist. But Dr. Scott's expertise helped me to recognize the difference! Best experience my children and I have ever had at the dentist!

It's tough bringing a child to the dental. Although my child was crying Dr. Scott made him feel comfortable the whole the. He walked us through everything he was doing.

Wonderful! Dr. Scott was so warm and friendly with my daughter - she didn't even cry! In fact, she asked me when we can go back! He also gave me, as the parent, some good tips on keeping her teeth healthy for years to come. Would highly recommend!

We took our son Cooper to see Dr. Scott for his first dental visit. Cooper was in great hands with Dr. Scott! This is the only place to take your child to in NYC!

My visit with Dr. Scott went great. I'm originally from Brazil and our dentist there wasn't as gentle or kind as Dr. Scott. Our son Paulo can't wait to visit the dentist again!

My son had a chipped tooth from the playground and Dr. Scott was able to accommodate us the same day. I'm very happy we were able to find SDK's, and we've stuck with them ever since! Great customer service!

I was skeptical at first because this was my daughter's first dental appointment. However, Dr. Scott put me at ease after about ten minutes. He is so knowledgable and soft spoken!

Dr. Scott was so gentle and caring. He made Carla laugh throughout the whole appointment, which made it easier to get the cleaning and exam done. He was also very knowledgeable and answered all the questions I had. Best experience Carla's had at the dentist!

Dr. Scott was so patient with my son. My son was actually exicted and well behaved because of Dr. Scott. 10/10 I would give the Dental office. I highly recommend this office to all parents.
